Nuestra primera herramienta para atacar un incendio es un extintor, hay diferentes tipos y tamaños, entre los más conocidos y utilizados tenemos:
Los ABC extintores de Polvo Químico seco, los cuales los podemos utilizar para extinguir incendios de materiales:
A: solido, madera, tela y papel
B: líquidos inflamable, combustibles, grasas y pinturas
C: Equipo eléctricos
Dióxido de Carbono o CO2, este extintor está altamente presurizados. Este es un gas ininflamable que lo hace ideal para la extinción de incendios de clase B y C.
